Do filters and blend modes in photoshop carry over into RS?

No, they do not. Layers that have blend modes and filters applied in Photoshop will have colors that look different when the file is opened in RS. Since RS only handles true color RGB, Photoshop layers with filters should be flattened or switched to Normal to preserve the artwork’s overall appearance before being launched in RS.
